Roasted Carrots

Ingredients

  • 1 Bunch of RLF Carrots

  • To taste

    • Olive Oil

    • Maple Syrup

    • Cinnamon

    • Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 

  • Grease sheet pan or use parchment paper

  • Line up carrots and cut off greens and top bit - you can give those greens to your rabbit or chicken. Some people eat the greens or in salads or use them in pesto

  • Line the carrots up again and cut off the root tip

  • Chop the carrots into bit size pieces, either rounds or short strips

  • Put carrots in a bowl. Stir after adding each additional ingredient.

    • Drizzle with olive oil and stir. Add enough olive oil that you can see them glisten

    • Drizzle with some maple syrup

    • Sprinkle with cinnamon. Use enough that they look brownish

    • Salt

  • Pour carrots on sheet pan

  • Roast until the carrots are soft enough to spear with a fork. The closer you get to burning them, without burning them, the sweeter they will be!
