Stovetop Stew Hen
Ingredients
1 Frozen Whole Stew Hen
Vegetables for flavor like:
Whole garlic cloves
Powdered Garlic
Celery
Onions cut into quarters
Chopped carrots
Spices for flavor like
Parsley
Salt
Pepper
Peppercorns
4 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Thaw Stew Hen in Refrigerator overnight
Place stew hen and vegetables of choice in a pot and cover with water.
Add all spices, herbs, and apple cider vinegar.
Cook on low heat and slowly bring to a simmer.
Simmer for 2 hours.
Turn Chicken so that a different side is on top.
Simmer for another 2 hours.
Remove chicken carcass and place in a bowl to cool.
Save the broth and vegetables for other recipes, or just enjoy as is.
Remove meat from the bone to make
