Lazy Apple Butter
Supplies
Crock Pot
Food Mill
Strainer
Ingredients
4 Cinnamon Sticks
Enough apples to fill your crock pot
Instructions
Put Cinnamon Sticks in bottom of crock pot
Fill crock pot with whole apples
Cook on low for 24 hours or until apples are mushy when you poke them
Remove apples from crock pot and mill in a food mill
Discard seeds, stems, skins left over in the mill
Put squashed apples in a strainer over a bowl
Let sit until the liquid has drained into the bowl and remaining apple butter is desired consistency
Chill the liquid in the bowl for a refreshing apple cider
Refrigerate or freeze apple butter
